Hi All,

I have Source Idoc (CCECUS02) XML structure and target EDIFACT (CUSDEC_UN_D96B) structure but While doing mapping in BIC I do not have messages specification document. So can please tell me how do the mapping in BIC.

As of now i do not have any logic/complex function in mapping. Just I want convert form the IDOC to EDIFACT message.

Is it possible to one to one mapping in Seeburger BIC?

please help me out.

Regards,

Ramesh

Hey

Please follow the below steps to design 1-1 mapping in BIC

Steps to generate user mapping(1-1 mapping) in BIC designer.

File->New project(lets call this as P1).
P1->Import .xsd provided by the Business Partner under P1.
Generator mapping->Mapping->Create XML message.This will generate corresponding XML for the xsd,save this xml on desktop.
Again import the XML into P1.Now you will have both XSD and XML in P1
Once both xsd and xml are in P1,we will go ahead with generating the user mapping.
Generator mapping->Mapping->Create mapping XML to EDI(Give source as XML or EDI) and target as desktop.
Now import the mapping from desktop to P1.
Then Generate .sda file for this mapping
P1->right click->Create deployable file.

Also note that BIC mapping must not be used to convert source structure to target structure.Bic must be used to convert EDI standard to XML and Vise versa.

Use graphical/Java/ABAP mapping to convert source to target.

Thanx

HI Ramesh,

Its Idoc to File.

Do normal message mapping by using documentation of EDIFACT(CUSDEC_UN_D96B).You can find the documentation,just by placing cursor on the fields.

and in the receiver communnication channel you have to use bic mapping name, to convert XML to EDIFACT.

Thanks & Regards,

Pragathi.

See if attachments with SAP Note 1050409 are of your interest. I have seen certain BIC MD project files in it.
