Rebate Access Seq. in Pricining Procedure and Condition Type Group

Former Member

For Rebate, we assign Condition Tables via Access Seq. in Condition Types and also, at the same time we assign the Condition Tables to Condition Types via Condition Type Groups. Why so? Why is this duplication of Condition Tables? Which is used when for Rebate?

Thx

Hi

We assign conditon type groups to the conditon type and finally we assign condition type group to the Condition type and condition type to the conditon tables. So when we create the rebate agreement and maintain the conditon record , system will check wheather which condition tables has been assigned to the conditon type

Does that mean that Condition Type Groups is used only while creating Rebate Agreement?

Can we add the Condition tables in Condition Type Groups, for any particular condition type, the (Condition) table which are NOT even set in Access Seq. for that 'particular' Condition Type?

I guess, I am trying to find the relationship between the Condition Tables set via Access Seq and via Condition

Type Group for any particular condition type.

Thx

Hi

Condition type groups are used mostly for Rebates only

Now To a conditon type group a conditon type is assigned and to that conditon type a conditon table is assigned ( a conditon table which has been assigned in the access sequence for that condition type). If you assign then only at the time of creation of rebate agreement and while maintaining conditon records system will check the key combination's that have been assigned

Example

Ctype grp C type C table

Z001 Z003 001

The conditon table will come only when you assign to the access sequnce and assign to the condition type

So when you create rebate agreement then only you will get the conditon table to maintain the conditon record

Thanks Sri,

Now, when we create Billing (Or SO) document. In these document will have various pricing conditions types.

Some of these conditions relate to normal price, discount, tax etc, whereas there could be Rebate Condition Types as well (In SO, in case requirement 24 in not set in for Rebate Condition types in Pricing Proc.), the values for the normal pricing conditions will come from condition tables (if these are not manual and not from reference document etc..) via Access Seq set in Condition Tables....right? But for Rebate conditions, the values would come from the condition tables which are set in Rebate Agreement via Condition Type Group...is that right? Unlike other conditions types, the condition types in Rebate will use the Access Seq. only for creating Condition Type Groups....pl. clarify.

Thanks once again.

Hi

Rebate conditon types use the access sequence to assign the condition tables to the condition type and condition type to the conditon type groups only . So that when you create rebate agreement and while maintaining the conditon record only for those key combination's you will be maintaining the conditon record
