Smartform as mail in background process failing

Hi All,

I am trying to send smartform output as an attachment in mail in a background job. I am gettign a mail but I am unable to open the smartform. I am able to get a reable attachment in mail when i run the program thru Se38..

i have set all the fields in control parameters and output options required for no preview etc...

Please help me reslolve this issue. I need to move this into Q tomm!!!

Hi All,

I am closing this thread. The problem was that the output device was not maintained forr the users for whom the PDF would not open. On assgning the output device, it works.

Hi,

I just wanted to update the thread with the right soluiton. The problme is my system was that output devices were not maintained for the users . Hence the PDF was failing. The issue was resolved by sending 'LOCL' as default printer settign to all users.
