Disable password expiration for a sap R/3 user

Hi, in our parameters

we have a login/password_expiration_time parameter = 45 days (Sap rel. 45B).

Is there a way to disable the password expiration only for one or some users ?

Hi Riccardo!

Not by system settings, that are just general parameters (and for security reasons, that's good in this way!).

But if you like to experiment a little bit, start with a change of the value in USR02-PWDCHGDATE for your user (by DB-table update).

In our USR02 table the field PWDCHGDATE does not exists (45B), perhaps you say we have to add a custom field in the table, but what data element ?

Hi Christian,

we have the field USR02-BCDA1, i suppose both

fields have the same meaning.

I try to edit the field value for a particular user, i

suppose there will be no expiration message if i forward the date of 1 year in the future.
