maintenance actions post system-copy for PI systems

Former Member

Hello,

In my project, we use several development lines to allow consultants to

isolate configuration between the different applicative versions we deploy.

Each time we construct a new line (SRMECCBI+PI...) we copy the

equivalent (on the previous line system) to the new one.

By doing this, we have some troubles to correct the new corresponding back-end systems inside the PI System (everything is pointing to the previous line).

The question is: do exist a specific tool to do those post-copy actions in a easy way? The objects to repair are Logical Systems, Ports, ...

To complete this question, we have the same problem on the back-end sides: how-to change automatically the BD64 (logical system, ...) configurations?

Best Regards and thanks a lot for your future answers.

Hi,

I don't think so but such guides can easily be developed

for this we have a transaction BDLSS

Thank you a lot for the answer about the BDLSS on the back-end systems.

I am strongly interested by the guide you spoke about.

We just test the transaction and it should be a little complicated to understand it. Whatever, it seems to be very useful. Thanks a lot again.

Best Regards
