Crystal Reports closes when selecting created parameter

Hello,

we are facing a problem with Crystal Reports 2008. It runs with Business Objects XI 3.0 and SAP Integration Kit on Windows Server 2003 x64 Edition. (We work via Remote Desktop on the server.)

When we create a parameter and choose it over the "choice assistant" (yellow filter symbol)

CR just disappears w/o any kind of messages.

We reinstalled CR and applied Patches and Hot Fixes but the problem still exists.

However, if CR is started within InfoView it works fine.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

there are no messages in the event viewer. We need to work remote on this server and I have no direct access to it.

Check in the Event Viewer if there is any log generated.

What happens if you log on to the server directly and try creating a parameter?
