Model deployment fails with flash runtime

Hi,

I am facing a problem with deploying a VC model on our PRD server.

Runtime is flash and deploying gives the following error

Error in compiling Flex application (1). Consult log file for details.

"No valid iviews"

The iview is a primary window and it has both input forms and tables.

The same model was succesfully deployed on our Dev,QA in flash itself.

Even a model with a single element fails deploying .

We cannot use flash(flex2) runtime due to certain reasons.

VC versions are the same throughout our environment - VC 7.0 SP 15.

Saw quite a lot of posts for this and also the wiki ,but no solution so far.

Couldnt get anything much from the logs too . Is this a server side issue?

Any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Vineeth,

Did you check the system authorization of vcuse?. It should have 'Super Admin' role.

Thanks for your reply, I have only content admin role and had done deployment on QA

also with similar authorization. Moreover deployment suceeds on PRD with flex2 option,

but I cannot continue to use the same due to some other issues. So have to use Flash

runtime itself. But would this be an auth issue?

Also I am using Flash runtime and yet get the error message "error in compiling flex application" ,

why is this so?
