How to connect external database(Ex:SQL Server/Tivoli) from ABAP Webdynpro

Any one have idea how to connect external database like SQL Server/Tivoli to access tables from WebDynPro ABAP.

This is not really a Web Dynpro ABAP specific question. It is more of general question of how to connect to external databases via ABAP the language - since the same technieques would be used regardless of Web Dynpro or not. Follow the suggestion in the second thread that leads to the blog. You will want to research OPEN SQL and the database connectivity options in ABAP. Consider posting follow up questions to this topic in the ABAP general forum since this is not a WDA specific topic.
