Cost Centre Assignment

HI all,

I am seeing 2 options for assigning CC

1) We can do it thru PO13

2) We can do it by directly going to " Cost Distribution" which is at the top of the screen.

Is there any difference B/w the 2?

It was "Master Cost Centre" by selected " Account Assignment Feature"

And Sikander "R these the different ways of assigning Cost Centres?"

yes there is difference

if u go through the PO13 or PP01 this will be at position level (OM LEVEL)

if it is thru 0027 it will be from PERNR LEVEL (PA LEVEL)

as both are same in nature

the configuraion and master data maintainence will change

Hi,

The cost center u assign in OM thru PO13 or IT1008 - Account assignment becomes the master cost center for the employee hired in that position. It will appear in IT0001 infotype for the employee in PA if integration is active.

IT0027 - Cost distribution is available where in you can assign other cost centers to which the cost of the employee is distributed based on percentage.

Cost Centre Can be assigned at positon level in PO13 , PP01 and also at Pernr level thru IT0027
