Hi all
i have created a Role and i have created the authorization profile for that and attached the users to that. Now i want to see the role under the Roles in BEx: Open Query.
But i am not getting the role activated by me.
is there anything i am missing.
as i am new to authorizations please help.

Dear Vijay,
1) For that Role, Did you attach yourself?
2) You can see your role, while 'saving' the query if it is first time.
Also makesure you logoff.. each time..

I have created the role. as you said while saving the query i can see the role if it is the first time, but still i cannot see the role i have created.
well i have a basic doubt about the role creation, can you just brief me out what all the steps i need to follow while creating the role. and can you please explain me what does the Menu tab in the role signifies.

1. PFCG->Create Role->user->Add your username(s)
and press the button 'User Comparison'. Activate the role.
2. Log Off and Logon with your user id..
3. Try saving the query..
If you still did not get the role..
check in SU01 with your user id the role is added there or not? .. it not added there .. add there
yes.. the menu details can be the same as RRMX or web reports list..

After addding user or after modifying the authorization to the role , Click on button " User comarision".
