Measures without unit using Calculated Key figures from BW

Hi All,

My universe is created based on SAP BW query.

The measures created in the universe have a folder with 3 objects like this:

• Sales ($) (Folder)

• Sales ($) inside is [[Measures]].[[4CVEDC1NU647KDWJBNN6LKRHP]]

• Sales ($) Unit inside is [[Measures]].[[4CVEDC1NU647KDWJBNN6LKRHP].[UNIT]]

• Sales ($) Formatted Value inside is [[Measures]].[[4CVEDC1NU647KDWJBNN6LKRHP]].[[FORMATTEDVALUE]]

Sales ($) is a key figure in the InfoCube and is used directly in the BW query.

When I create a WEBI report I can see information like this

Sales ($) Sales ($) Unit

1234 USD

2349 USD

9877 PEN

7654 PEN

I change in the query this key figure for other in this case a Calculated Key Figure

When I create a new Universe or Refresh the old one I only have one object.

• Sales ($) inside is [[Measures]].[[4CVEDC1NU647KDWJBNN6LKRHP]]

I lost the unit and I can't differentiate if is USD or PEN, if I see the BW query I can see the units but in Universe I can't.

I tried to create the object Sales ($) Unit inside is [[Measures]].[[4CVEDC1NU647KDWJBNN6LKRHP].[UNIT]] but when I see this dimension in WEBI I don't have information.

Can anybody help me to solve this?

Hi,

Which BOE version are you using?

This is a known issue and I believe it has been fixed and latest fix packs.

By the way, I suggest that you crete a support ticket to be sure that your issue will be taken into account.

We are using XI 3.1 with fix Pack 1.2 and BW 7.0

I will create a note.

This will be solved in the next fix pack.

For the moment we resolved this issue adding in the BW query the 0currency.
