Accumulating a wage type into another wage type

So essentially I want to cumulate a paid absence WT (0500) into the basic pay cumulation 0020 (YTD) figure.

Example:

Basic Pay Monthly Salary WT 0020 = $2000 a month. Therefore after 3 months the cumulation figure should be $6000 for that WT. However if the employee took a paid absence, the YTD figure for 0020 will show $6000 minus the paid absence. This is correct in calculation, but I want to cumulate that 0500 paid absence into 0020 to reflect the entire $6000 figure.

I've read here and there to use averages/table V_512W_C, but I'm confused. How much in that table I will really be required to touch to get the functionality mentioned above? I'm not seeing anyway to link 0500 and 0020 in that table.

Any advice?

Thanks,

Kavir

Actually my boss has told me that the figure doesn't need to be kept in any table, so I just use a cumulation ID in PE51 to get it done..

Thanks

Set up a custom cumulator (ie /19x) and link the wage types to it
