Upgrade Crystal Server XI R2 from SP3 to SP4 - Missing CAB file(s)

Downloaded the SP4 from the site

https://websmp230.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/bobj_download/main.htm

When installing the SP4 we get the following error message:

Error 1311. Source file not found: C:\CrystahReportxl

installatio\crsxir2win_sp4\win32\m31 cab. Verify that the file exists and that you can access it.

I verified the download file and the file M31.cab is not in the installation packages.

How / where can we get the missing CAB file?

Are you at CRXIR2 SP2?

The SP2 package of Crystal Reports Server XI R2 wrongly installs the busobj.exe file that is not needed.

Resolution :

a. Go to this installation directory on the server

...\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\win32_x86

b. Search for the busobj.exe file and remove it.

c. Run the Crystal Reports Server XI R2 SP4 installation again and then it'll finish correctly.
