How to see old requests in STMS which are cleared form the queue

Hi experts,

Some questions...

1. How to see the old requests which are cleared from the queue after importing from DEV to QAS.

2. The above is for re-importing a particular request. So how to get them back in the queue?

3. I want to clear the old imported requests from the queue. How to do this?

Thanks in Adv.

Hi Vasu,

1. How to see the old requests which are cleared from the queue after importing from DEV to QAS.

check table E070 in the target system. it will contain the imported requests. or you can try - go to import queue of the target system, then 'Goto' > 'Import History' > click on the filter & give the appropriate date/time.

2. The above is for re-importing a particular request. So how to get them back in the queue?

go to extras > add request. give the request and add it and then you can import again.

3. I want to clear the old imported requests from the queue. How to do this?

Select the requests, go to 'request' > Delete.. (you can select multiple requests, by pressing F6 on the first request and then again F6 on the last request and delete all at one go.. you should save the list / take a screenshot for future reference if required)

though STMS is the preferable option, but if you want to delete specific requests, then the other option you can try is the os level tp command run from /usr/sap/trans/bin

tp delfrombuffer <change request> <target SID>

Debasis.

One additional remark to number 3:

If you delete a request from a queue, it is only removed from the queue. But it still remains in the TRANSDIR. So it is not lost.
