Depreciation key configuration

hi,

I had an asset.Its useful life is 5 years.first year its depreciation is 100 dollers and remaining four years it is 75 dollers each.

year 2009 depreciation 100

year 2010 depreciation 75

year 2011depreciation 75

year 2012 depreciation 75

year 2013 depreciation 75.

I know it is depreciaiton key configuration but how can i achieve this.

There is a method called 'Multilevel method' for defining depreciation key, which you can use.

Use a multilevel method with 25% for the first year and then use 20% for the next 4 years on the remaining value

When this is for more assets (create) use then a depreciation key with multilevel method (based on percent)

When it is for only some assets use the depreciatioo key MANU and make manual depreciation postings
