Certain non data rows to be hidden

Hi Gurus

I have a query in this format

The key figires are aggregrated as per the selections A,B, C and D.

Each of these selecitons (A,B,C,D) are restrcicted to few A/C numbers.

Str Acc Bal (KF)

A 10

B 20

C 30

D No data

I have a free char of Account NUmber. When i drill down on account number,

I get the following format

Str A/C no Accbal(KF)

A 1 10

2 Blank

3 Blank

B 1 Blank

2 20

3 Blank

C 1 Blank

2 Blank

3 30

D 1 Blank

2 Blank

3 Blank

We dont want to see any blank rows which do not have data. We want to see only the rows of account numbers for which there is data.

Please advise on the possible solution scenarios.

The point here is that the user might drill down and only in such a case we want to hide the blank rows!

We are currently on BW v 2.1C. IS there an option in BW v 3.5 for this?

regards

RD

Hello Rahul,

Right click on A/C No

Select Restrict

Choose your Selection Restrict Where A/C equal to "Blank"

Select Exclude from Selection and Transfered to Right Side Panel

Click ok and it will exclude all A/C number which are Blank.

Hope it helps.

Hi San

Thanks for this input.

But this is user activity. I want this to happen automatically when the user drills down.

For this case, is there a way out?

Hi,

Try this:

In query designer, open your query, go to "properties",go to "Display" tab page, in " Supress Zeros" -->Make Supression = active.
