Im wondering if i can install my sap ecc 6.0 ides system in a virtual environment. I was planning on installing the DB in one VM, the central instance on another and a dialog instance on a third. Can I do that and still maintain the transport system?

I don't get this part.... If its a single system, you'll just configure its own domain.

virtual environment is equal to physically diffent server provided you have huge resources

i dont think any issue installing DB on one CI on other VM
