CTS+ / Portal / Transport Workflpw

Hello Experts,

Is there any best practice available to use Transport Praposal workflow with CTS. We are exploring possibilities to implement transport proposal in Enterprise protal using CTS as part of software logistics. Target is to implement an automated tool than manual approach in both ABAP and JAVA environment. ChaRM option is ruled out by CLIENT.

If your client has ruled out ChaRM then perhaps a third party alternative product is worth considering.

You might want to look at http://www.xrsc.com

There are other similar products available if you search change and request management at the SAP EcoHub

This one is Rev-Trac and it integrates into CTS+ as an overal change and request managent technology. You can find user reviews at http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/ecohub/solutions/revtrac

I am not really sure what you mean by transport proposal workflow. But EHP1 of SAP Solution Manager 7.0 offers an additional tool to manage projects and transports. it is called quality gate management. You can find details on the SAP Service Marketplace: https://service.sap.com/changecontrol
