MDM server version 5.5.63.57.need infoabout java apis

Hi experts,

MDM server version 5.5.63.57 can you please explain what does it mean?

Also what is the version of java apis i have to use to make it compatible with mdm server.

and from where i can get the sca files for java apis. please provide the link.

help in this shall be highly appreciated.

Hi Jitesh,

Can you please elaborate as i checked JAVA APIS folder it contains zip files which i think contain mdm java apis jar files.

please let me know if it contains sca file also if you are confirm.

Hi Narendra,

Check the zipped file MDMJ55005P2HF_4-10003460 (numbers may vary depending on the patch level) and inside this you will find MDMJAVAAPI05_2.sca.zip

Just extract the content, you will find the sca file.

from market place i am getting the below java apis

MDM 5.5 SP06 Java API Patch03 HF19(Build 5.5.63.94) will it work for MDM server version 5.5.63.57 .

Also i do not find MDMJAVAAPIS SCA files.

can you please heelp me.

Hi Narendra,

As the MDM Support pack and Patch Levels are matching ,My guess is this Version of MDM Java API should work for you.

Regarding the MDMJAVAAPI.sca file,you will get this under the Portal content refering to the link in my previous post.Instead of Java Api select Portal content form the list,you will get the list of the MDM compatible portal sca files.

Hi Narendra,

In 5.5.63.57 first 2 digits will tell you the MDM version i.e. MDM 5.5 or MDM 7.1 and the remaining is the patch level. Always use the content available with the MDM installable only else you will face the version compatibility issue.

For SCA files, download the entire installable and check the Portal Content and MDM Java API folder.

- SAP MDM 5.5.63.57 stand for MDM 5.5 version ,Support Pack 06 and Patch 03 with Hotfix number 57.

what is the version of java apis i have to use to make it compatible with mdm server.

- You need to work with the Matching MDM version for the MDM Java API.So your MDM Java Api must be of SP06 and patch 3. Aslight difference in the hotfix number is tolerable but not in the support pack and patch.
