Text Determination

Hi All,

I am configuring text determination. I have maintined item text at sales contract level., when i create sales order w.r.f. to contract, text is getting copied but client requirement is at sales order level text should be in display mode.

Hi

Can i use the field in Salez order-> item level-> Additional Data a-> Material group1(VBAP-MVGR1)

for maintraining any predefined Text so that end user can select it from selection list?

It has any impact???

Hi Vijay,

Since you know which Text procedure has been used wrt SO, find out what are the Text Types used in the procedure in the T-code VOTX.

With respect to each Text type there is field called COPY. if you check this field the system will copy the text from the reference document and user will be allowed to change.

if you uncheck this field then user will see the text in Display mode

Hello Friend,

Then in this scenario you cant do anything as now it has to be done by the Technical person. Take the help of your technical person and ask him to code in such a manner that when it appears in the Sales Order it should only be in Display mode.
