Error in Material Determination DP80 DIP

Hi experts,

I want to create quotation from service order by DP80, it issue Error in Material Determination,"Character Combinations W/O Mat.Assign.in DIP Profile 00000001". the quotation should have two item, one for service order's operations,another for service order's components, for operation I want to use the service material in DIP profile, for components I want to use the component material itself.

so in DIP profile(ODP1) -> material determination, I select Material direct 'X', and left the Material/service blank.then it issue the error message in dp80.

if I input a material in the blank material/service, The DP80 is ok, however the material in the quotation is not I want.

how to solve this issue?

I forget select the indicator "Material origin" in the material master view Costing 1.

Hi Lance,

Can you tell me how do you calculate your material prices? As you can see below, my net value below for material is $0.00

My result after DP80 is below:

Original Amount Transfer amount Net value

4000016 147.96 147.96 392.00

service hour 138.76 138.76 392.00

D2094-16 6.00 6.00 0.00

D2094-17 3.20 3.20 0.00

Any advice would be highly appreciated.
