Controlling area is an umbrella under which several reports are generated for internal purposes.
Controlling is a function which supports the business analysis and management decision making process

operating concern is highest reporting level of organisation for reporting pupose like sales & marketing etc.Under one operating concern there may be multiple controlling area.
where controlling area is the primary objective to the management for internal reporting purpose for cost and revenue.It is only internal controll of the orga.
