adapter engine is not appearing?

hi experts.......

while i am doing file2file scenario in xi 7.0 in communication channel adapter engine drop down list is not appearing? how watch adapter status in pi 7.0?

Hi,

Check the Troubleshooting Guide provided by SAP for 3.0 / 7.0......the exact problem is defined and solved in the guide.

Hi,

First check whether adapter engine is registered in your SLD or not ,If not then ask basis guy.

Adapter Engine must be regsiter in SLD i.e need to create an entry in SLD

Solutions can be;

1. Re-import SAP BASIS SWCV 7.0 into Integration repository

2. Apply SAP Note 764176.

Did you imported the SAP Basis software component in Integration repository?

Check whether adapter engine is registered in your SLD or not ,Ask basis for this
