Receiving idoc acknowledgements from the receiver system

Hi,

I have configured the file-idoc scenario and left out with handling the idoc acknowledgments from the receiver system.

Could anyone please let me know how to cofigure the idoc acknowledgements from the receiver system? I need to send a mail if the posting of the idoc fails.

if u need to send a mail if idoc fails this can be done using alert configuration.u can raise alerts thro mail to ur recipient.

Hi Raja,

If the posting of your IDOC fails from XI and you need to send an Email, you can configure ALERTS in XI.

When there is some problem during he processing in the Integartion Engine and Adapter Engine in XI, the Alert can get triggered and can send the mail.
