Dear SAPIENTS,
In QI record screen and on tab inspection control tab there is three selection in certification:
1-Inspection active, independent on vendor certification
2-Inspection active if vendor is not sertified
3-No inspection
Where in customizing these setting exist. How can i control from here whether lot is created or not.
Regards,
Kaushal Rai
Dear Kaushal,
This Inspection Controls are internally Defined by SAP in Standard Code. We can not define it in SAP IMG.
Thanx & Regards,
Harish.

Hi Kaushal
If you select the option "No Inspection" no inspection lot would be created.
this option we can use if we clearly want to make a material Direct On Line (DOL)
If you select the option "Inspection Active if Vendor is not certified" then you will have to maintain a relatioship in Actual and Target QM system and need to check the check box Cert. to make the QM system behaive in a way that when ever the QM system mentioned in Vendor master and in Material Master Matches it should not create any Inspection lot
If you selct the option "Inspection Active independent of Inspection vendor certification" the system would create Inspection Lot
Hope it would help you
Regards

Hi Kaushal,
There is no IMG Setting for this option. Basically, the Vendor certification will be given in vendor master record (MK01/XK01) and Certificate required will be mentioned in the Material master record- QM view. These fields will be cross checked with the option mentioned in the Q-info record and accordingly, it will be executed.
Regards,
Keerthi.
