New GL and Splitting Documents on ECC 5.0 - IFRS

Hi Experts!

We are planiing to implement New Genral Ledger and split documents.

We are WORKING with ECC 5.0 SP21.

We would like to know if the ECC version works fine ir if we Must migrate to ECC 6.0 ?

We ask you this bcause in some notes we find that the version ECC 5.0 would be fine and also other ones said that we must do an upgrade from ECC 5.0 to ECC 6.0

Can anyone give me any suggestions based on your valuable experience ?

Hi,

The G/L solution is well unified in mySAP ERP. There is not reason it will not work with ECC 5.0.

The option to migrate to ECC 6.0 is a good option considering the fact that the main stream maintenance for ECC 5.0 will end in March 2010.
