External document flow

Hi all,

How to establish a external document flow in the sense

iam migrating three documents by extracting the docuemts and creating through a BAPI in the new system.

in the legacy system they are linked through a docuemtn flow.. so how do i achieve the same in the new system????

Any ideas..

Hi.

You can't put this document in standard document flow (VBFA).

You can just put a reference number in the header of the sales order.

You can use for example 'Purchase Order Data' in the header of the sales order (VBKD).

What are the sales documents that are extracted and uploaded from the legacy system to the SAP system?

In one of my project, we used the field Collective number in VBAK table to store the legacy document number in SAP sytem
