trigger alerts on smq1 or smq2

I was wondering if there is a way to trigger a alert if there is a message stuck in Queues ( outbound or inbound).

I understand it can be performed using CCMS

Hi,

with CCMS this is the easiest and most standard way

so why would you need anything else?

I'm sure you can write a report on your own that would

check those queues and send alerts but why not do it in standard ?
