OS/DB Migration documents

Dear All,

We need to migrate our dev/qa systems from HPUX Tru64 to IBM AIX 5.3/6.1. We have ECC 5.0, EP 6.0, BW 3.5, SCM / APO and CRM systems in the landscape (both ABAP as well as ABAP+JAVA stack).

We require the migration guides for the same. We have searched in the instguides in SAPMarket place. The system copy guides are present for netweaver 2004s but we are not finding the same for netweaver 2004.

Requesting your kind help in searching these documents. If you please provide the link for the documents that will be very much helpful for us.

A heterogeneous system copy must be done by a certified migration consultant, otherwise you will loose support during and after the migration in case of problems resulting out of the migration (see http://service.sap.com/osdbmigration).

Basically you will use R3load to export the database to a platform and DB independent format and import it into the target platform. You can use the system copy guides for NW2004s/NW 7.0, the procedure is identical.
