I found that the problem was that my NFS filesystem: /usr/sap/trans was not mounted.

Simply mounting the Filesystem fixed the issue.

Cheers.

As the scc3 says -

The Log File Cannot be Read.

Reasons for this may be:

- Was deleted by system administrator

- Directory cannot be accessed

Error logs and details cannot be displayed.

It means, <SID>adm doesn't has permission to /usr/sap/trans/log folder or the folder doesn't exist.

thanks

You should check in SCC3 . It will give you the log why its been cancelled.

why did you deleted the logs in the first place?

I guess you will have to rerun it and then give us the logs from SCC3

Then perform the Client copy once again with same Profile, as far i know you can't be able to trace the log if you have deleted the log.

Go to SCC3 after Reset the log and check the log if you perform again the client copy then log must be written, what you need to do is check in details. and paste the log file here

Log File: \\PRDSAP\sapmnt\trans\log\CC000012.PRD

Is this file exist in the OS. if yes then check that is there any permission issue or not, can you open the file into Notepad. you have to do some workaround by yourself. without log or any error log we can't find what is the reason?

hi

the logs are not getting written in the path specified, this seems to be a permission issue on the log folder, check the permissions and make sure that <sid>adm has fulll permissions to this folder
