Data source is locked by another process

Hi Team,

There was a failure in the Process chain in BI system on lastweek while extracting the data from rR/3 SAP system. The error message given by the system was u201CData source is locked by another processu201D u201Cerror in source systemu201D. How to find which process and user locked sourse system.any one please help .

Hi,

In SAP lock management (transaction SM12), you use table RSPLS_S_LOCK to display the compressed lock records; you find the locked selections themselves in transaction RSPLSE.

Hi Thiru,

in R/3 system,check in SM66 the processes that are running,may be some background jobs are running which have blocked the tables from which BW system requires data
