Which system [Dev, QA or Prod] went down? The server went down suddenly or did you apply any patches? What is verion of EP? Is yours a dual stack?

Which processes are not starting?

Please check all the logs -- Std_server0.out - \usr\sap\<SID>\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\system , Default trace file - \usr\sap\<SID>\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\log [Last updated], log folders of Server0 & Dispatcher folders.

Check for the error lines and see if you can analyze something out of it.
