SAP GUI JAVA 7.10 rev 8 CTRL + Y

Former Member

Dear All,

I have recently installed ubuntu on quite a lot of systems at work and then installed the lastest sap java gui. rev 8.

Everything is going smooth and people are liking the OS and the SAP GUI, except for one thing,

whcih is they cannot select the CTRL + Y in alv reports.

Some end users' work depends on this, and they always have to use the windows machine.

Kindly let me know if there is some setting or workaround or some note to rectify this at the earliest.

Just want the CTRL + Y.

Regards

Hello,

copying the text of multiple cells of an ALV grid to the clipboard will be possible with SAP GUI for Java 7.20.

hi nirmit,

as long as i know, it is possible to do copy and paste using SAPGUI for Java.

Use CTRL + Y to select and then use CTRL + C to copy.

You can use CTRL + V to paste.

Dear Ardhian,

I know that at certain places the CTRL+Y works. I have problem only when its an ALV list.

Because usually on the windows gui, I have CTRL + Y and DRAG to select the respective rows and colums.

But when I try to do the same in JAVA GUI in UBUNTU, it does not work, and by it I mean the DRAG thing and multiple selection.

I also installed the JAVA gui for windows rev8, and faced the same problem.

Kindly let me know if there is a solution to this, or just bug, and will have to wait for the next release.

Thanks

Regards

Nirmit
