Inspection lot not generated after goods reciept?

Dear SAPIENTS,

Inspection type 01,0101,08,89 and all activated in material master but then allso inspection lot not generated after goods reciept. Can anybody suggest here that what could be the reason.

Dear Kaushal,

Here you have activated 01 and 0101 inspection type in material master. Both of this Inspection Types having Same Origin i.e. 01- Goods Receipt.

So When Goods Receipt is posted Sytem is in conflict to select inspection Type For Inspection lot.

Solution is you check prefered inspection type in Material Master for any one of this inspection type.

In Material Master check "preffered inspection type" in inspection set up for 01 inspection type and check

Hi,

While goods receipt 101 movement type is there so please check in SPRO that QM is active for this movement type.

path is as follows

SPRO>Quality Management>Quality Inspection>Inspection Lot Creation>Inspection for Goods Movements>Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type

Hi Kaushal,

For Inspection lot from GR, 01 Inspection type is enough.

- Ensure 01 Insp type is active and Post to Inspection stock indicator is active for that inspection type.

- Ensure the QM is active for 101 Movement type, SPRO>Quality Management>Quality Inspection>Inspection Lot Creation>Inspection for Goods Movements>Deactivate Quality Inspection for a Movement Type

Dear,

Every thing is correctly maintained. Only for special stock "O" QM lot will not be generated. At the time of GR this speical stck type is not used.

I wan to know where else this stock type is used.
