Configure the EIC inbox work item

Hi Experts,

I am working on EIC implementation.

The basic setting been done are.

the portal link to send request from ESS is been activated.

The EIC agent Dashboard is been activated.

Currently we just need to get the EIC request send from ESS to EIC Agent Inbox.

I am not able to see the sent Employee request, in the EIC Agent Inbox.

Is there any basic activity to be done step wise ?

Points would be given to helpful answers

Sanjyoti ,

First check if basic workflow customization is done , Tcode SWU3

Then for event linkage Go to swe2

object type BUS7051

reciever type WS17900089

check the Activate linkage here.

Also check the Task 17900015 where agents are determined is working correctly .

I have tried the above steps and found that the linkage was not activated. i have activated it now.

Hello Sanjyoti ,

Still strugling with EIC .I feel this has to do with workflow.

EIC Request trigers workflow WS17900089

Check if it is configured properly and event is activated .

I had already gone through the workflow.

but my workflow knowlege is not enough to understand it : ( would you help me to know what basics should i check in this workflow ?? and how to activate the event ?
