Portal server restarts itself

Hi

My portal server restarts every 30min. When ever it restarts i get message Dispatcher running, Server not connected. After 15 min ( approx) it connects . I can see jserver using high cpu while resarting.

I checked oracle alert log file and other file systems for space constraints. I could not find any error messages.

Which log files i need to scan to identify cause?

You might want to check the error console log.

I have two files erro.log and output.log in console_logs folder located in /usr/sap/EP1/JC00/j2ee/admin/log/console_logs and they are dated Mar 21st. Nothing with today date.

Interesting... I believe that it should right out a new file each time it restarts.

No. I haven't applied license key. Do you think its the reason?

Yes. Absolutetly. This is what happens after the intial period is up and you haven't licensed it. The engine comes up long enough for you to license it and that is about it.
