Hi Experts,
I have an XI adapter type comm. channel with HTTP transport protocol, which is visible in Integration Directory (it is in activated state). When i go to communication channel monitoring, i am unable to view this channel in the list of channels present there.
I now need to restart this channel but i am unable to do it as it is not visible in the channel monitoring. Is there any other way i can restart this channel ?
Thanks,
Arkesh
Hi Arkesh,
Http does not reside on the adapter engine but on the integration engine. So you are looking for something in a place where it does not exist in the first place.

The thread is diverted in an incorrect direction.
As you said, you have XI adapter type communication channel and Not an HTTP communication channel. adapter_plain service is related to http adapter communication. You can't see XI communication channel type in RWB. I guess you are performing some proxy scenario. What is the problem you are facing?

HTTP adapter can not be monitored from RWB.
You can test if HTTP adapter is working fine or not as mentioned below.
1. test the adapter_plain service in TCODE SICF
adapter_plain service can be found under /default_host/sap/xi/adapter_plain
or
2. TCODE : SMICM and then Shift + F1 and you can see the status of the HTTP server
