Maps in BW

Hello.

I am trying to integrate the Map feature of BW for which I want to load the maps into the system. The doc that I referred to said that this if free and will be available in a CD in the installation pack. However I don't find any in my packing list for netweaver. Has the model of delivering maps/licensing changed with netweaver?

Anand,

to get the CD you must log a request with ESRI . This is because With netweaver , you also get a license of ESRI ArcView Free.

What you need to do is call up ESRI in India and ask them as to how to log a request for the ArcView Copy. They will then ship you the full set of ArcView along with the SAP BW Mapping CD which contains all the required shape files.

You will need to give details of the Netweaver installation here and they will get back to you. It usually takes about a month to 6 weeks to get the same.
