Hi all,

Can you please help me out in converting my old ABAP editor to new ABAP editor.

In Utilities->Settings, I did not find the "Front end editor(new)" option.

What do I need to do?

Thanks and Regards,

Hi balakrishna,

Its is because the version you are using does not support or has the feature which you are looking for.

Try using the version ECC 6 if it is in your reach.

It depends on the SAP basis release .

I am using version 6.40

Then you may not be able to use the features of new editor.

But my colleagues are using it(we all are using the same version). When they go to utilities->setting, they find the Front end editor(new) and selected it....

Thanks and Regards,

Hi Balakrishna,

Can you pls download the latest SAP GUI ie. SAP GUI 7.10 and SAP Component Version ECC 6.0.

You can pls check the SAP GUI information from you logon pad i.e left most corner there you have to get like this SAP LOGON 710 and you can check your SAP Component version by checking it in system status it should be as SAP Component Version ECC 6.0.I think these are the prerequisites to get the Latest Editor.

Just check it once ...
