Hi gurus
i write a rule for calculating LWP in hours and the rule is ..
ZNP1 Partial factors for India - /801(CD), /802(WD), /803(WH),/804(Nom)
" *
" /801 Partial period factor 1
RTE=TKSOLL Set
RTE*8 Multiplication
RTE-TSAU** Subtraction
RTE*KGENAU Multiplication
RTE/TKDIVI Division
RTE/8 Division
ADDWT * OT Output table
it calculate lwp on hours basis but client wants that if a person is working for less than 4 hours, his or her salary is deducted atleast for 4 hours and full one day in case of more than 4 hours but less than 8 hours.
I already chk counting rule rounding rule etc. but no effect.... can we modify this rule further?
You have to completely customize the rule. When LOP is calculated, in time eval itself put a condition that if LOP hours > 4, then make LOP hours as 8, so that will solve the purpose. In 2001 the absence hours will be say 5 hours, but the data that gets into ZL will have it as 8 hours, and while passing values in /801, use this LOP wage type.

Hi Waseem,
In this scenario you can create a new leave type 1/2 Day LWP, this will give you the solution for taking leave for below 4 hrs.
let me know if you need any further information
