Updating the SP of the Xi content

Hi Experts,

I am working on PI 7.1.

I have downloaded the Store connectivity SP-03 content and uploaded to PI.

Now a new SP Store connectivity SP-04 is been released in Service market place.

Now to update the Content to SP04 what are the steps to be followed.

Do we just upload the content to PI server and import it to Integration Repositry or do we have to delete exisisting content ( SP03) from PI and then import the SP04 content to Integration Repositry .

Hi Anil,

You dont have to delete anything , sap has given a provision that all things would taken care by itself. For a further and deep insight refer to note 836200 . Its the correct place to have your doubts sorted out.

When you import XI Content with an older version, this does not overwrite the content that you already imported into the Integration Repository. Support Packages for XI Content always contain both the previous objects and the changes and enhancements that are delivered in the relevant Support Package.
