Hi
The CPC export failed on the DEV system while starting the journalling. There are about 30 damaged objects, tables that cant be journalled.
I see

Damage to file BIW_AUFK in library R3D46DATA.
Tried to refer to all or part of an object that no longer exists.
I doubt the CPC did this and looks like we will have to investigate what caused the damage (old power outage?) and maybe do a RCLSTG to fix it.
Any thoughts ?
Thanks
Matt
Hi Matt,
did the CPC Export fail or did the CPC Import fail ? Journaling is started during import only ...
I cannot see, that this is caused by the CPC ... the old power outage might be an issue ...
RCLSTG might be good and the tool CHKPF might be good as well ...

Looks like the logical files were left over from the OS upgrade last November. Not sure why they showed as errors when CPC tried to start journalling. I solved the problem by setting the .r3s to say the start journalling phase was complete and the CPC finished OK.
Thanks
Matt

Looks like all the damaged objects are *LF's. DSPDBR does not show a *pf (physical file).
If the current runs fails I am considering just deleting them.

We ran the RCLSTG but the objects that were damaged are still there.
What is odd is that they all seem to be *LF (logical files) and the CPC fails when it tries to start journalling.
The date on the damaged objects for last change is all 11/22/08 so maybe something happened there. Here is a list of damaged objects.
