Hi Experts:
How can i change sap system date and time.
i am using the field sy-datum for the current date. but it shows the date as 01.02.2002
i need to change the sap system date.
plz throw som light on it.

HI Venkat
Please ask your Basis persons to set the date and time in your SAP server. Date and time at your system is coming from server only.
try and revert.

The date and time in SAP for all transactions are fetched from your SAP server. If you have any issues in this, you need to approach your basis team.

U can do the general setting for currency, date ,time, number format
Through T-Code SU01 in general setting tab
SPRO
Got to general settings -> Define Countries
These setting will only effect when you logoff and then login ..

Hi Venkat,
"sy" is an internal table ( structure ) which holds all the information from the local settings in your
computer ( fields like sy-time, sy-user and so on ) .
my guess is that your computer local settings ( date / time ) is not updated .
