Hey,

I have an interesting problem. I want to connect to the integration builder from a SAP ECC 6 Backend to a PI 7.0 and got the message, that the integration builder adress are not maintained. It works for few days and i change nothing.

I use Point 3 in the [Step-by-step detailed ABAP Server (Inbound) Proxy real life scenario (+ activation proxy in SAP ECC)|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/wiki?path=/pages/viewpage.action%3fpageid=72123509] blog for the configuration.

Have anyone an idea, what can be happen?

Thanks a lot

Hi

Am not ablew to understand u r question ..anyways r u trying to open IB from ECC it is not possible u can open IB from XI only.

For proxies activation you need to goto --> SPROXY ---> Test connection there , u shud follow series of steps to reflect IR object in ECC for further proxy genration.

And error u have mention "enterprise services builder adress not maintained" happens if JAVA stack is down check if it is up.

please elobrate more ??

Thank you, for you answer.

I would rewrite my situation.

I create the HTTP-Connection to my PI 7.0. After that, i go to sxmb_adm and set the created connection to the global configuration. My next step was, i used sxmb_ifr to start the Integration Builder. I got not the message, that the address is not maintained. It open my IE and i get a front-end from the IB.

I used also sldcheck, to watch, it is all fine.

Yesterday, i checked my system with sldcheck again an got a message: i have a problem with the RFC-connection. I was confused. So, i checked my IB with the sxmb_ifr and got the message, that the adress is not maintained.

Is it better? 😕

How can i check, that Java EE is start up? I restart the server for 1 hour, before i got the message.

Thanks

Hi

I think some post installation steps where not proper.

As threads shown above by "Abhishek" you have check if the "RFCs" that are used in the visual admin are working properly.

normally this is for connection between abap and java stack of the XI box.

Kindly goto sm59 and check all the standard RFC that get's generated during post installation.

goto - visual admin -- rfc jco -- click on the Server program wat u have created in sm59 and check

Thank you for your answer....

I cant solved the problem but i have new information. I recheck out SLDCHECK and the RFC-connections have problems.

I got to SM59 to check out the RFC-connection SAPSLDAPI and LCRSAPRFC.

They configuration looks fine (i don't change anything before) but when i check the configuration, i got the ERROR-Message: program <...-ID> not registered.

Ok, i gone to Java Visual Administrator and what see my eyes the ...-IDs in the register JCo RFC Provider. They are also 2 more available RFC listeners. One of them is the AI_RUNTIME. I compare the seetings from the rfc listeners and they are the same. Ok... the user is a other.

I go back to SM59 to check the other RFC-connections (AI_RUNTIME) and they works... i got no ERROR-Message. Sorry but... what the he**.

I don't change any password...

Have anyone an idea?

Thanks and best regards

Hi,

to do the proper RFC configuration refer the details in these two blogs:

1) /people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/29/configuring-the-sender-rfc-adapter--step-by-step

2) /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2008/01/08/troubleshooting--rfc-and-soap-scenarios-updated-on-20042009

Hey, thank you for your answer.

I have some interesting news.

I stopped one of the error "available rfc listeners"

When i restart the listeners, i got an error massage and have to check out the LOG.

I was in some logs and i found two errors.

Hi

In Visual Admin u find under RFC Jco "SLDAPI_PI1" server program id wat u have created in SM59 of XI box , check testing it in visual admin.

Same kind should be maintaned from ECC SM59 to Visual Admin of XI..

u can see it "abap proxy activation steps" in sdn

Thanks for your useful answers... the admin from the SLD answered me.

He change the password from the SLD_ADMIN and said nothing to me.
