Hi,
You can import set of tags from OPC compliant Process Historian as mentioned below :
1. Start UDS admin console.
2. Add new UDS instance
3. Select the instance created, specify OPC-DA specs on the right side
4. Select Cache - Mode and set as "Alias with Dynamic meta data"
5. Save the instance
6. Select "Configure Aliases" from either tool bar icon or Main menu - Tools
7. Alias configuration window pops up
8. From Alias main menu, select UDS - Browse submenu
9. Browse information form popsup, select your Process Historian - OPC server instance from the mask (default is *) and click OK
10. From the browe section of Alias window, you can get all the tags configured in your OPC server/ Historian
11. Create your own alias on the top Alias section
12. Copy from the browe section to Alias section
13. If you want to copy entire tag group, there is an option "copy recursive"
14. Save the alias (*.csv format), for portability to other systems
15. Note 😘 try to reduce number of tag groups/ alias groups to four
16. Start your MII server-Data server and from Query template you can access all the imported tags
