Business partner - get username

dear all,

does anyone know how to get a username when given a business partner number? any function module or table?

Hi,

Please use the FM BUP_PARTNER_GET.

Give the partner number as input and it provides username in the XUBNAME field.

You can also see the table BUT000 for more details on the business partner by providing the partner number.

We have a CRM v 5.0 system and have all our employee data coming from our HR system in ECC.

The field XBUNAME is not populated at all in any of the BP tables BUT000 etc and the FM mention in the earler threads does not return the XBUNAME field.

Does anyone know how the User Id is linked to the BP record ? what tables are used ?
