SSO Login issue for Portal

Former Member

Hi,

We have created an SSO login between portal and ECC.

But now when i try to login as enduser and check the iview transactions which are assigned to that user are not getting opened.

when i go to user admin and cheked for that user in user mapping i can see this error.

The selected principal does not have end-user permissions for the system.

  • The system's logon method does not require any user mapping data for the system (such as "SAPLogonTicket" for a system that is not the SAP reference system).

  • The system's user mapping type is not set correctly or not set at all.

  • There is no system alias defined for the system.

  • There is no system landscape registered, for example, the one contained in Enterprise Portal.

can you plz help me in this issue?

Regards,

Raju

Hi,

it seems you have not created the system in the portal. steps to be followed,

1) create system in the portal

login into the portal as admin user --> go to system administrator - > system configuration --> system landscape --> create new folder --> create system and provide all the system details, provide authorization to everyone, define aliase

2) SSO configuration

a) download the certificate from portal using administrator login

b) upload into SAP R/3 using t-code strustsso2

3) user mappping is required only in case of different user id in portal and R/3.
