pls tel me what is notification by e-mail an d how to config to e-mail notification..

Kamal,

Please follow the below steps to configure the emil notification,

System Admin -> System Cong -> UM Configuration -> Notification Emails tab

Check or uncheck the check boxes based on your requirement. Changes will be effective after the application restart.

You can Send E-Mail on Following Events:

Administrator creates new user

User requests new password

Administrator changes password

Administrator locks user account

Administrator unlocks user account

Administrator deletes user account

Import function creates new user

Import function updates user

search in SDN like to which mail srver you are going to configure

As as example .. outlook, lotus notes etc..

many threads and documetns are available in SDN.
