Error in the ICF node

Hi ,

I am very new to web Dynpro , i am trying to create one web dynpro application .

After i entered username and password for getting layout . The following error message is displaying.

Error in the ICF node

Specific ICF Nodes in Transaction SICF Must Be Released for the Web Dynpro View Designer

Check the following ICF nodes, as described in note 517484:

/sap/public/bc/

sap/public/bc/ur/

sap/public/bc/icons

/sap/public/bc/icons_rtl

/sap/public/bc/webicons

/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/public/bc/viewdesigner

When i checked in SICF tcode for above 5 , Service (Inactive) is there , LAST /sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/public/bc/viewdesigner ONE IS NOT APPEARING.

what will be the impact if i activated those 5 .

We are using ECC 6. VERSION .

please help me..

i actived all above 5 ,,.

but i did not find the path for last one i.e,,

sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/public/bc/viewdesigner

i found only upto

sap/bc/webdynpro/sap

from public it is not appering

please help me...

Refer SAP Note 1008689.

Now what error you are getting after running the application.

when i clicked show layout preview, the below message is coming.

Check the following ICF nodes, as described in note 517484:

/sap/bc/webdynpro/sap/public/bc/viewdesigner

The above path is not able to find in SICF tcode for activating.

please Help me regarding this...

it seems the service not installed properly. consult your basis team

Once you have installed the Application Server ABAP (AS ABAP) all Internet Communication Framework (ICF) services are available in an inactive state for security reasons. After the installation you have to decide which services must be activated for the applications you want to use.

service nodes must be activated in the SICF tree.

For more refer Above link for Active Services in SICF.
