Contract Creation and subsequent release

Hi Gurus,

we are working on the implementation of SRM 7.0.

We have the following requirement to fulfill: when we create a contract in the source of supply we need create it with status Released withtout the need to go into the contract and release it manually.

Can you suggest a way to do it please? Can we leverage function module BBP_PD_CTR_STATUS_CHANGE_WF?

I think you can use the Function Module "BBP_PD_CTR_STATUS_CHANGE" in the BADI "BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI", method "BBP_CTR_CHANGE" to change the status of the contract to Released.
